'Executed, not euthanized': Peanut the squirrel's house owners sue New York, county over seizure, loss of life

House owners Mark Longo and Daniela Bittner sued New York state, Chemung County, and a number of other of their companies for having seized and “executed” Peanut the squirrel and fellow pet Fred the raccoon.
