Delhi's Air Quality Turns 'Poor' As Monsoon Season Nears End

With the monsoon season nearing its finish, the air high quality within the nationwide capital turned “poor” on Tuesday, officers mentioned.

In response to the Central Air pollution Management Board (CPCB), the town’s AQI at 9 pm was 204 — within the “poor” class.

An AQI between 0-50 is taken into account “good”, 51-100 “passable”, 101-200 “average”, 201-300 “poor”, 301-400 “very poor” and 401-500 “extreme”.

The Air High quality Early Warning System for Delhi has predicted that the air high quality is more likely to be within the “average” class on Wednesday with a chance of sunshine rain.

The predominant floor wind is predicted to blow from the east/southeast instructions with a wind pace of 8 to 12 kmph, it mentioned.

The day’s most temperature was recorded at 37.4 levels Celsius, three notches above the season’s common, whereas the minimal temperature was recorded at 26.4 levels Celsius, 2.5 notches above regular, based on the climate division.

The utmost and minimal temperatures on Wednesday are more likely to settle round 36 levels Celsius and 26 levels Celsius.
