Mumbai:

A 22-year-old man has been arrested right here whereas two others are wished for allegedly bashing up two boys and parading them bare on suspicion that they have been thieves, police stated on Tuesday.

Within the early hours of Monday, two brothers, age 17 years and 14 years, have been discovered loitering in a Juhu space by some native individuals, stated an official.

Pondering they have been planning to commit theft or home break-in, Patwa and others allegedly tied them with a series, minimize their hair and paraded them bare, whereas beating all of them alongside, he stated.

Somebody shot a video and circulated it on social media. Later, the boys have been let off.

After the video went viral, the boys’ grandmother approached Juhu police.

An FIR was registered towards Patwa and others underneath the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for assault and different related offences. Patwa was held and additional investigation is underway, the official added.
