President-elect Donald Trump has named longtime ally Kashyap “Kash” Patel to function the subsequent director of the FBI within the new administration.
Patel, 44, is an legal professional with expertise in nationwide safety, intelligence and counterterrorism. He has been a member of Trump’s transition workforce, advising the administration on different appointments.
Trump introduced Patel’s appointment in a Fact Social submit on Saturday.
