An Ohio physician has been charged with arson after allegedly setting fireplace to a different physician’s home, officers stated.
Andrew Campbell, 33, was arrested following an investigation into the Dec. 7 blaze, which police instructed ABC Information they “decided to haven’t been unintended in nature.”
On Tuesday, a grand jury indicted Campbell on six counts of aggravated arson.
Authorities are wanting right into a doable connection between the fireplace and an alleged affair between Campbell’s spouse and Dr. Tahir Jamil, who was focused with the arson.
Jamil instructed police he and Campbell’s spouse had an affair from late July to early August 2024, based on the police report. On Aug. 7, she allegedly instructed Jamil her husband had found their relationship.

A spokesperson for the College of Toledo confirmed Campbell is a fellow of their Hematology-Oncology program.
He was positioned on unpaid administrative go away after the varsity was knowledgeable of the fees, the spokesperson stated in a press release to ABC Information.
