A Class 11 pupil allegedly died by suicide by leaping off a constructing in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore on Saturday, police stated.

Vinayak Mishra, a pupil of Barfani Academy dwelling in Nilgiri hostel at Swadesh Bhawan, jumped from the fifth flooring of the constructing within the morning, MIG police station in-charge Manish Lodha stated.

Vinayak Mishra had gone to the fifth flooring for a yoga session and left a suicide notice there, he stated.

He jumped and landed on the parking flooring, Mr Lodha stated.

Onlookers rushed to his rescue, and his sister, dwelling in a ladies’ hostel in the identical constructing, was additionally knowledgeable, the official stated.

He stated the boy was rushed to a close-by hospital, the place he was declared as introduced useless.

Mr Lodha stated in a suicide notice penned in Hindi, Mishra wrote, “I’m sorry for dying by suicide. Dying is a actuality which all of us should face”.

The physique was handed over to the members of the family after autopsy, and a probe is underway, he added.
