A minor lady was allegedly raped in Assam’s Nagaon on Friday, days after a teen was allegedly gang-raped within the district.
The lady was allegedly raped by two motorcycle-borne in Nagaon district’s Dhing when she was returning dwelling together with her youthful brother. In line with experiences, they forcefully took her to an remoted place and raped her.
Police have registered a case and launched a large manhunt to nab the 2 accused.
“The youthful brother managed to run away and knowledgeable the native residents, who got here and rescued the lady,” an area resident mentioned.
Final month, a 14-year-old lady, who had gone for her teaching class, was allegedly gang-aped by three individuals in Dhing.
She was later present in a semi-conscious state close to a pond, together with her bicycle beside her on August 22.
The incidents come amid a nationwide outrage over the rape and homicide of a 31-year-old trainee physician in Kolkata on August 9.
