Officers with Customs and Border Safety (CBP) at a Texas port of entry intercepted $31,169,000 price of methamphetamine hid inside a cargo of peppers on Sunday.

The invention was made by CBP’s Workplace of Discipline Operations officers on the Pharr Worldwide Bridge in Texas, the company reported on Tuesday.

On Sunday, a tractor trailer touring from Mexico tried to enter the U.S. via the Pharr Worldwide Bridge cargo facility. 

The automobile was chosen for inspection, together with using non-intrusive inspection tools, which is when CBP officers found the medicine.

Officers positioned 1,859 packages of alleged methamphetamine hid inside a cargo of serrano peppers. The medicine weighed 2,155.02 kilos, the company mentioned.
