Marxist chief Anura Dissanayake was declared the winner of the Sri Lankan presidential election

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated Anura Kumara Dissanayake for his victory within the Sri Lankan presidential election. He stated he seems ahead to working carefully with him to additional strengthen the Indo-Lanka multifaceted cooperation.
Marxist chief Anura Dissanayake was declared the winner of the Sri Lankan presidential election by the nation’s Election Fee after an unprecedented second spherical of counting of votes.
