Riyan Parag and Shaswat Rawat struck fluent half-centuries to assist India A tighten their grip over India C on the penultimate day of the four-day Duleep Trophy last spherical match on Saturday. Parag made 73 off 101 balls with the assistance of 5 fours and one six, whereas Rawat hit a stroke-filled 53 off 67 balls laced with 4 boundaries and one hit over the fence to take India A to 270 for six of their second innings. Skipper Mayank Agarwal made a positive 34 after opening the batting. Parag and Rawat shared 105 for the fifth wicket as India A took their general result in 333 runs.

Earlier resuming their innings on 216 for seven in reply to India A’s first innings rating of 297, India C folded for 234 in 71 overs with the final three wickets including simply 18 runs.
After his exploits with the bat, Avesh Khan, who represented India in eight ODIs and 23 T20Is up to now, scalped three wicket for 34 runs, whereas Aaqib Khan, the 20-year-old pacer from Uttar Pradesh, additionally chipped in with three scalps giving freely 43 runs.
